Our Mission

The PRIMA Longevity Policy Institute is a non-profit policy and research organisation dedicated to translating scientific findings from prevention, longevity research and health innovation into actionable insights for political decision-making. We work independently, based on evidence and in the public interest. Our aim is to strengthen policies that enable people to live healthier, longer lives.

Three Key areas

Science → Policy

We synthesise complex scientific evidence and prepare it in a structured, accessible way for parliaments, administrations and the expert public — from local governments to European institutions.

Strengthening Prevention

We develop strategies to reduce preventable disease, analyse prevention opportunities across the life course and support public health structures at municipal, national and EU levels.

Responsible Innovation

We assess emerging medical and technological developments — from longevity science to drug development — and situate them in societal, ethical and regulatory contexts.

Our Focus Areas
Prevention & Public Health

We develop approaches that reduce the burden of disease, improve population health, and support effective prevention policies based on epidemiology, intervention research and international best practices.

Longevity & Healthy Ageing

We analyse scientific discoveries on healthspan — the years lived in good health. Our work includes ageing biology, preventive strategies and global policy frameworks.

Regulatory & Health Policy

We examine legislative and regulatory developments across Europe and within Germany. Our goal is policy that supports innovation while ensuring responsibility, safety and equitable access.
